One Big Drop, 5th September 2010

This exciting and unique challenge involves a 66 feet abseil down Earls Court, one of London’s most famous venues.  If you are brave enough to look you will enjoy stunning views across London knowing that you are helping to raise funds for the CVI.  

 

 

A Lighter Challenge, 5 September 2010

Text Box:  This one’s strictly for the girls!  Enter a team in the 2010 Adidas Women’s 5K Challenge on 5 September in London’s Hyde Park.  Run, jog or walk the 5K fun run! 

 

London to Paris Bike Ride, 3-6 September 2010

This long-weekend challenge links two great cities covering around 300km before finishing at the Eiffel Tower. 

 we are once again offering places for this annual and very popular event. 

This long-weekend challenge links two great European cities, London and Paris and covers around 300km in just three days. Encounter historic towns, sleepy villages, rolling countryside and challenging hills en-route. Cycle along wide Parisian boulevards to the finishing line at the city’s most famous landmark, the Eiffel Tower.  There is also free time to recover or celebrate and explore the sights of Paris before boarding the Eurostar train back to London.  All we ask is that you raise a minimum of £1000 to cover your costs and a donation to the CVI.  If you’d like to join our team for 2010 please get in touch for an information/registration pack.

Pure Filth – Off Road Running- 2010/11

Text Box:  A series of mad, muddy 10 mile trail runs throughout the UK will find you wading through water and clambering through mud, sand and bogs.  Other more gentle trail runs are available for all ages.

The CVI is delighted to offer six places for this year’s popular event run through the heart of London. Now in its 11th year the route takes you through the heart of the capital past some of London's finest landmakrs.  Every year the race attracts some of the world's finest athletes, celebrities and tens of thousands of people of every running ability. 

 

London Marathon

The CVI sadly isn’t even able to get on the waiting list for charity marathon places. You can still take pot luck and enter through the ballot system if you wish to run for us. 

Who Dares Wins?

Tandem skydiveHow about taking part in one of our Challenges?  We have something to suit all levels of fitness and courage!  For some activity providing you raise enough sponsorship you get to do them for free!

Overseas Adventures

How about following in the footsteps of the ancient Incas to Macchu Piccu, Peru, or reaching the Base Camp of Mount Everest or climbing Kilimanjaro?  Could you cycle from London to Paris or across Vietnam, horse ride across Mongolia or Patagonia, raft the white waters through the Mexican jungle?  These are just some of the trips that the CVI is delighted to offer throughout the year.

Perhaps you have something in mind?  Otherwise, we have lots of other ideas to suit all levels of fitness, age and courage!    

 Whether you are an individual, group, organisation or a company there are countless ways that you could raise funds for us – you are only limited by your imagination.  If you are daunted by the idea of it - don’t worry!  It doesn’t matter what you do, you can be assured that your efforts really will make a difference to the lives of patients and their loved ones coping with cancer.
