Research Team

The Cancer Vaccine Institute (CVI) currently funds a research team at St George's University of London.  It is headed by Professor Angus Dalgleish Bsc (Hons), MD FRACPath FRACP FRCP FMedSci and consists of seven members of staff including two research technicians, a data manager, a research manager, a postdoctoral research assistant, a research nurse and a PhD student.

Research Nurse

Nneka Belonwu.  Screening and enrolment into trials.  Administration of clinics.

Postdoctoral Research Assistant

Dr Natalie Wilson.  Administration of clinical trials, development of dendritic cell vaccine programme and monitoring of immunological outcome of trials .

Research Technicians

Daniel Fowler and Andrew Gravett.  Handling of vaccines and research samples.  Preparation of vaccines. Responsible for research including biomics and gamma-delta projects.

David Fine Memorial studentship.

Katie Lowe.

Data Manager

Mary Dunne.  Mandatory position for operating trials.  Undertakes documentation and regulatory affairs.

Research Manager

Dr John Copier. Project management of ongoing and future projects.
